LaPush Late Season Area Will Open for Two ChinookWashington Department of Fish and Wildlife — 9/29/2006Effective dates: October 1-8, 2006. Species affected: Chinook salmon. Location: That portion of Marine Area 3 north of 47°50'00"N. latitude and south of 48°0'00"N. latitude referred to as the "LaPush Late Season Area" in the sportfishing rules pamphlet. Reasons for action: More angling opportunity can be provided while staying within quotas for chinook and coho. Other information: The LaPush Late Season fishery will close beginning at 12:01 a.m. on October 9 as previously scheduled. Information Contact: Tim Flint, (360) 902-2728. Fishers must have a current Washington fishing license. Check the current WDFW "Fishing in Washington" rules pamphlet or the Fishing section of the WDFW webpage at wdfw.wa.gov for details on fishing seasons and regulations. Fishing regulations are subject to change.
